Another beautiful evening in West Virginia

 August 13th

Went to the yearly turtle fry at John Curtis's.  This poor little turtle was being lugged around by some little girl.  I felt so sorry for it.  The shirt says "I hope I survive the turtle fry"
 Come and get it......
Shells of some of the turtles :(  Only in West Virginia!!!    You gotta love it.

Spaghetti monster!!!!  He sure does like to eat.  I am so glad I am not the one that had to clean him up.
 August 3rd

Another beautiful sunset.  I am getting good at taking these types of pictures. I can honestly say I have never paid so much attention to the sky until this year.
 August 2nd

Something happened to this cucumber.  I believe it cross pollinated with our yellow squash.

Day Two Hundred and Twelve Through Two Hundred and Seventeen

August 1st

Theresa  (our wonderful knitting/crochet instructor) enjoying her birthday cupcake pop!
 July 31st

It is harvest time.  Our garden has struggled with the heat and humidity but it is keeping me busy.
 July 30th

One of many cucumbers that we have picked.  Refrigerator pickles sure taste good.
 July 29th

Our second batch of green beans.  I have a few more to go.
 July 28th

Our friendly neighborhood cat.  He is so vocal and loveable.  Trixie tolerates him, Barley not so much.
 July 27th

My first ever black eye.  Let me tell you it hurt.  I have a bum foot and I fell over the gate that we keep on the steps.
