While I was working out in the garden this big buzzard continually flew over. Looking for something dead and I am glad it was not me.....
June 16th
Not only do we have strawberries growing in the back we also have raspberries. Not sure where they came from but there is a lot of them.

A big old beetle bug just hanging out in the rocks.
June 14th
Frying up some of the morel mushrooms that we hunted this spring. Just as fun to eat as they are to hunt.

As the New Year begins I have started to emabark on a journey of taking one picture a day. By doing this I hope to become more aware of the world around me.

Day One Hundred and Fifty Five Through One Hundred and Sixty Seven
June 12th
One very hot dog.

Sometimes things just strike me funny. Sitting out on the deck I looked over and saw a melting face.....
actually it is Lawson swimming float.
June 10th
Jon splashing around in the pool. If you look close Lincoln is in there somewhere.
June 9th
My attempt to take a picture of lighting during a storm. 95 pictures and this is the only one that comes even close. I will try another time.
This is the Pacific beach at the Coronado Hotel. Not many people out on the beaches while we were there.
June 6th
Sunset in San Diego. Beautiful!!!!
This was taken at the Wild Animal Park. It was fun to see the animals up close and running free.
There are actually three goats on this rock but I can only see two now.

Lets Rock and Roll. I waited outside our hotel for an hour and I almost missed him running by.
Part of the marathon. It took almost three hours before the last runners went by the hotel.
June 4th
Torrey Pine National Park. This people were para sailing all over the hillside.
The seals at La Joella Beach. They actually swim with in the same water as the beach goers.
I was amazed at how many rocks and cliffs are around the Pacific ocean.
June 3rd
Petco Park and the San Diego Padres. This is part of the old park. They left it standing when they built the new one.

The sunsets were unbelievable. But you better act quick because it did not take the sun very long to set.
I loved watching the Pandas. I could have stayed there all day. We actually visited them twice.

Hard to believe this animals roamed the earth many years ago.
