Day Fifty Four Through Fifty Eight

February 27th.

While walking Barley today I started seeing crocus's sprouting up every where so I decided to check on my daffodils and sure enough they are up.  Some how the voles... missed them
Spring is getting closer by the day!!!!!

 February 26th.

Mom's 79th birthday.  Me, Jeff, Tiffany,Lincoln and Lawson went to visit for the day.  Looking very tired.

February 25th.  Dark and scary sky...

and then the rain began to fall.  I guess it is better than snow!

February 24th.  No picture today :{  I forgot.

February 23rd.  Jeff and I went for a walk/run and this little squirrel decided to stop and pose for a picture.

Day Forty Four Through Fifty Three

February 22nd

Went to visit my two favorite Aunts today.  Aren't they beautiful!!!
They are showing me all the new family pictures they have received.
Our family keeps growing and growing.

 February 21st

Here is another picture of Trixie getting into something. Jeff left a bag  on the table and in no time she got right in it.  She is getting crazier and crazier.  I think she is bored

 February 20th

Red sky in morning sailors take warning.
 February 19th

Lawson snug as a bug.  I had to take this one since we did not get one of him at the WVU ballgame.  I am a bad gammy........actually it was poppy's fault because I was holding him the whole game.
Lincoln at the ballgame eating a nice sugary icee.  Thanks mom for buying him one.
 February 18th

After setting at the park for over an hour trying to get a picture of the full moon.  I come home and what do I see a little later......oh yeah the full moon that I could not see at the park.  Very weird.
 February 17th

The temperature broke 65 degrees today.  Spring is almost here.

 February 16th

Look who had to get a wallet made.
 February 15th

I know another picture of the temperature.  Here it is at 60 degrees.  It was not suppose to get any warmer the rest of the week.  Can you tell I am really wanting spring to come.
 February 14th

Valentines day.  Jeff and I went to the park for a walk/run.  The ducks and geese were enjoying the day as well.  And no duck flew into Jeff's head!!!

 February 13th

Day Thirty Nine Through Forty Three

February 12th

This picture is for Troy.  Although I did not take the picture I could not resist.  This was after the WVU vs DePaul game.  Coming down the stairs what do I see but the one and only .......

and I also got a prize.

February 11th.  A beautiful sky.  Red sky a night sailors delight!

February 10th.
My favorite place to be.  "Amy's Attic" This is where I spend most of my time.  I belong to Clarksburg League for Service and we operate this for people in need for Harrison County.  We are open three days a month and we allow them to come in and shop for household supplies, baby items and clothing.  Working there gives me the greatest feeling.  I then come home more grateful then ever.

February 11th.

Very very cold day.  I believe the temperature was somewhere around 8 but below 0 with the wind chill.  As Jeff was getting ready to leave for work and I was outside with barley we started here this swishing type sound.  We look up and there must have been over thirty robins flying in and out of our tree and our neighbors tree.  I tried to get close but it was almost impossible.

After watching them for most of the morning from inside (they were driving Trixie our cat crazy)  I went out to do a little more investigating.  They were flying in and out of our Holly tree eating all the berries.  They made the most unusual sound like they were cracking nuts.  Take a close look at the first picture and see how many berries were on the tree.....

This is our tree by the evening not one berry left not even on the ground.  Amazing.

February 8th.

Can you guess what this is???????  Look close

Because here I go a swinging.  I told you I love destruction.  I had fun taking out the wall.  But of course I made Jeff clean up the mess.  On step closer to that bigger closet.

Day Thirty Four Through Thirty Eight

February 7th

WVU vs Pitt  it is 5:00 and students are lined up and waiting to get in the stadium.  It was pouring down the rain and they were not allowed in until 6:00 so you can imagine what all they were chanting.

 February 6th.

Jeff, Barley and Ozzie getting ready for the Super Bowl.  I think Barley is actually sticking his tongue out at me.

Barley and Ozzie at the end of the Super Bowl. As you can tell Barley is not real happy.  Not sure if it is because the Steelers lost or because he had to share the couch with Ozzie.

February 5th.
Jeff and I were judges at the Social Studies fair.  We had the elementary kids.  We had ten projects to judge.  It was harder to do than I thought it would be.  Jeff wanted to give everyone high scores.  He is such a softy.

Of course my favorite one was the Wizard of Oz

But the winner was the Vampires.  Two little girls did a great job on this project.  Their project was about old vampires vs the new vampires.  I learned that when the vampires are made to look a little more human and less like a monster that the stories are usually wrote by woman.  Imagine that.

February 4th.  Even Mr Sun can not melt the snow away completely.  This ball of snow stayed above him for quite a few days.

February 3rd.

As you can see I forgot to get a picture that day.  Not to bad for 38 days.

Day Twenty Nine Through Thirty Three

Well one month down and only 11 more to go.  This is way harder than I imagined.  You not only have to try and be creative but you have to make sure your camera is with you at all times.

 January 29th

My husband takes me on the greatest dates.  Gotta love him!   Here we are at the recycling center in Enterprise

If you look real close one of the cans has a great emblem on it.  A hint..... it is on the left side and they play on Sunday

January 30th

This is our new hospital.  It opened in October.  A lot bigger than the old one.
Kind of intimidating if you ask me.  Can't wait to try and find my way around.
If I get lost I am sure they will keep me.

January 31st.

We drove up to Washington Pennsylvania and of course I had to stop by the Meadows (a great gambling place)  as we drove into the garage I could see horses out and running.  We thought they maybe the trainers had them out for some exercise but before you knew it the race was on.

Troy this shot was for you.  Great number but I don't think he won

February 1st
Barley is ready and waiting for the Super Bowl.   Lets go Steelers!!!!!!

February 2nd

The weather has definitely been strange the past few days.  Yesterday we has some ice/sleet in the morning and then it warmed up to around 40 degrees.  This morning it was 54 degrees but as you can see it was changing fast.  My this afternoon the temperature is suppose to drop to around 20 degrees.

Wind warnings are up with gust up to 40 mph.  As you can see it looks like Mr. Wind is blowing in the cold air. Spring is just around the corner.
